Every repair begins with understanding the rug.
An open edge, worn fringe and area of missing pile are different problems. Materials, structure, age, value and previous work can also influence the most appropriate solution.

Acting early can limit the spread of wear.
Fringes and edges protect important parts of the structure. When they begin to open or wear, damage can spread into the knotted area. Small holes, tears and weakened areas also deserve assessment.

How much does rug repair cost?
The cost depends on the type and extent of damage, the materials and the work required. Photographs and measurements allow an initial assessment.
Can fringes be repaired?

Do you also repair worn edges?
Yes. Edges can be assessed to prevent wear spreading into the knotted part of the rug.
Can a hole be repaired?
Whether repair is possible depends on the size, position, structure and condition of the surrounding area.
Will the rug look exactly as it did before?
It would not be responsible to guarantee a result identical to the original. The objective is defined after assessing the rug and type of damage.
