Not a standard cleaning
The rug is inspected before treatment begins.
A Persian or Oriental rug cannot be treated like an ordinary household textile. Materials, knot density, colourfastness, fringes, edges and previous repairs may each require a different approach.
That is why the first step is always an assessment. Photographs and measurements provide the initial information; more delicate cases may require an in-person inspection.

We check the material, construction, colours, wear and any visible stains.
Quotation
We explain the recommended treatment, indicative price and collection arrangements.
Cleaning and drying
The rug is treated according to its characteristics and allowed the appropriate time to dry.
Return
Once the work is complete, we arrange showroom collection or return delivery where available.
When to have a rug cleaned
There is no single cleaning interval for every rug.
The need for cleaning depends on use, surroundings, pets, dust and the condition of the fibres. An assessment is particularly useful where there are odours, stains, accumulated dust, long periods in storage or before placing the rug in a new setting.

The price depends on size, material, construction and condition. Full photographs, close-up images and accurate measurements are useful for an initial assessment.
How long does cleaning take?
Timing depends on the treatment and drying required. We provide an estimate after assessing the rug.
Is home collection available?
Yes, it can be arranged depending on the area, rug size and type of treatment.
Can every stain be removed?
It would not be responsible to guarantee removal of every stain. The result depends on the substance, how long it has been present, the fibres and previous treatments.
Do you also clean silk rugs?
Silk rugs or rugs with silk elements must be inspected before the most suitable treatment can be defined.
Can I send photographs through WhatsApp?
Yes. Send a full photograph of the rug, close-ups of the problem areas and the measurements.
